Fixing Tire

We are in Subang Jaya. Road has changed so much since we been here last. New dividers are built. Needless to say we were a bit confused. Ted hit one of the divider and we ended up with a punctured tire. Thank God Ted can change a tire. Hahahahaha

Music to heal

Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra in collaboration with the IJN
Foundation decided to have a mini concert in Melor today. It was such a joy to see my patient smiling while listening to the beautiful sounds from the cello, clarinet, trombone, trumpet arranged in a musical notes..... They even had a chance to be a part of the orchestra, playing the rattler and the tambourine.

I almost had tears in my eye when I saw Safiyah, a patient that has been in IJN for almost 2 months, smiling and shaking a rattler. She looks almost happy. Just half hour ago, I took her blood and she was putting up such a fuss. The music made her forget.... Even if it is just for a little while.

Family Weekend

This weekend we had Aiman. It was wonderful. We had Italian dinner at Venezia. While waiting for our Pizza, Ted practise his card tricks. Had a few good laugh to pass the time. Venezia is a small quaint Italian diner. They made the most wonderful pasta.... and pizza.

The next day we went to Desa Water Park. It was so hot, I stayed away from the water. Didn't want to get baked. But by 4pm, clouds came out and the heat was a bit tolerable. Finally went into the water. We had great time playing in the waves and the jacuzzi pool. Place is crowded but I didn't mind it so much. Aiman made it fun.

It is a great weekend. I am wishing for more....hope it is not too much to wish for.
